COMPETITION - Serpent of the Tyche Signed Copy Giveaway!

Serpent of the Tyche.

“How far would you go to avoid Damnation?”

For one man, Damnation may have been the preferable option. Vincentius De Cavalieri was tasked with hunting an elusive weapon known as the Tyche which seemed simple enough until he was put through a century of Hell and cursed to watch those around him die after he was blessed with immortality.

Some 500 years after beginning his quest, Vincentius closes in on the Tyche only to discover that it has fallen into the hands of a deranged scientist. Vincentius finds himself pitted against the ultimate weapon, a beast cloned from residual blood residing on the blade… the Serpent of the Tyche.

Serpent of the Tyche is from Andrew Lamb, the author of Dispatchers and mixes traditional Greek Mythology with modern Science Fiction themes.

To celebrate the launch of the paperback edition of “Serpent of the Tyche”, we have three signed copies to give away! (Courtesy of Andrew Lamb himself!)

To win simply answer this question:

“In the Serpent of the Tyche, a mythical creature is cloned from the Tyche. If you could clone anything, what would it be and why?”

The best answer also gets a signed copy of the Fantastic Astral Projection Thriller “Dispatchers: Vengeance of the Dark”

How to enter.
Either send your responses using Twitter hashtag #SOTT or leave a comment on the competition post on The Weird News Daily Facebook page.

The winners will be chosen by Andrew himself next Monday (26 May 2014) and contacted by direct message.

(You must follow either the Weird News Daily Facebook page or Twitter account to enter)

Serpent of the Tyche is also available in Ebook format from Amazon HERE

Tales From the Vault - Callers Get Sex Line Instead of Golf Line

Callers to a freephone number advertising a US golf tournament in 2001 were surprised to hear a sultry female voice telling them they had "come to the right place for nasty talk with big-busted girls". A one-digit error published in 100,000 brochures for the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, California  led callers to a sex line instead of the golf line.
